I do think he is a cut above the rest, but still he should try to get a good fight. Yes, the Big 3 aren't available right now, but Dirrell is still around. I don't know about Kessler. What about AA? There are fights out there, he has options. If he can't get good fights at 168, he should just move up to LH. It's only 7 lbs more.

Dirrel has been inactive since the AA fight Dirrel would want a tune up and I bet Bute would get zero credit given circumstances

AA, Bute would get trounced by fans he has lost like 3 in a row Bute beating him would get him no credit unless he won by KO

and why should he have to move up in weight, he has guys at his weight who will be available next yr

Kessler vs Stieg winner plus S6 final that leaves some good possibilities in 2012

Let's just see if he takes those opportunities. I certainly hope he does, because he looks to be a coward right now, albeit a supremely talented one.

Bute won't find a decent opponent before Ward or Froch find time to fit him in their schedules.
Bute's whole career has been about waiting to face the biggest draw, and staying out of harm's way until then.
Don't campaign for the S6 cause he might get beat and exposed.
( Yeah, yeah, we all heard how he wasn't invited)
Don't take a big fight with a top opponent before the S6 ends, cause he might get beaten and exposed. (Yeah, yeah, we all heard how they sabotaged the Pavlik and Kessler matches)

Now, he's in a hurray since people have noticed their pretty obvious strategy, and expects one of the finalists to lock him in even before the finals are completed.

Instead, he should be out there trying to make a big fight while he is waiting, but he's not. Surprised?

Seems to me that a Bute-Pascal match would be a huge Canadian attraction. Of course, that would be much too risky a fight for Bute and Company.
