If Calzaghe beats Hopkins, do you think he will give RJJ a fight?

    RJJ has said clearly that he wants Calzaghe. And if he beats Hopkins, do you guys think he will give RJJ that chance over in England? I think RJJ was being serious when he said this. I hope he wasn't just putting on a show when he said this.

    RJJ said clearly that he wanted Lennox, Vitali, and Buster Douglas. I'm no fan of Calzaghe, but Roy fighting him at this stage in his career will do nothing for Calzaghe -- it's a lose, lose situation for him.

    I think regardless of who the winner is...there is a slight chance they may meet Roy to end their careers.

    Well, i wouldn't say lose, lose. Calzaghe is a confident guy and if he feels that he can whip up on RJJ, why not? He will add another big name on his resume and he would make millions of dollars. So i wouldn't say lose, lose.

    I think there is demand for it and he should give RJJ a fight. After that, he can still fight people like Dawson or Pavlik.

    If Calzaghe feels comfortable at 175, he'll stay around for a few more years after he trashes Hopkins.

    As a Calzaghe fan, assuming he can stay where he's at and the weight makes him more comfortable and sustained, I'd love to have Joe dominate LHW for 3-4 more fights after Hopkins.:yep

    If he can get past B-Hop, I think he would fight Jones. It would be another name on his resume, especially if he could beat Jones.

    I would also like to see Joe stay around for a while, there are good fighters for him to fight out there.

    Even if he is defeated to Dawson, he'll give a great account of himself past-prime and give us a great fight, be willing to die to win the bout.

    The best fighters bring the best out of Calzaghe and Dawson's the best around at LHW.

    Wouldn't mind seeing Pavlik-Calzaghe somewhere either, maybe this 170 catch weight.

    Agreed. Just Jones is not one of them.

    Agreed :good Roy beating a fat Tito doesnt make him a player again, I dont care what anyone says. Calzaghe destroys him, and gets little credit in doing so.

    Roy - Tito PPV = 500k = $50M --> millions for fighters
    BHop - Calzaghe FREE (everbody tunes in) --> Winner - Roy 750k = 75M --> at least 10 million/fighter

    It's a money fight. The winner fights Roy. That 100% unless Pavlik fights him sooner.

    I think JC will fight jones in the uk as his last fight. I think he will fight the winner of Taylor /Pavlik first. If he wins why not fight Jones as long as jones can get another good win in between .
