If Calzaghe came back at 175 to fight Froch, would he win?

It goes without saying that a prime Joe would box circles around a prime Carl.

What would happen in 2015 if 46-0 Joe fought 80k seat Froch?

How about Hopkins/Calzaghe II? Or is Calzaghe too old?

How about Lennox Lewis vs. if Bernard is still fighting.

Calzaghe took Hopkins to school so a rematch is pointless, plus Hopkins is one of the most boring fighters around - he talks a good fight though.

Aye, prime JC slaughters Froch, but if they were to announce a fight for later this year, then I'd bet my house on Carl. Too much time out for Joe, too much drugs, etc... No chance.

To be fair it's coming from a guy who said

The David Haye that won the Vitali Klitschko vs Dereck Chisora match via press conference tko (best press conference of all time) would run over the division.

Well to answer your original ridiculous question, Froch would smash him now with absolute ease. Prime for prime, would have been a very good fight, people favour Joe because of his record and that which is fair enough but only one man has had a comfortable nights work against Froch in Ward, and Calzaghe certainly wouldn't have an easy night. Calzaghe is not as good a fighter as Ward, not even close in my opinion, I think it would be a pick 'em fight between Froch and Calzaghe, prime for prime, but at the time the fight could have been made, Calzaghe would have beat Froch.

Yep, prime for prime I would pick Calzaghe to beat Froch but it would be far from the Lacy type schooling that Calzaghe's deluded fans envisage. It would be a tough, close fight.

He would win just like Hopkins would beat Froch now, that is the reason Hearn the slimeball will not put Froch anywhere near him.

Calzaghe is now 43 and hasn't boxed since 2008. If Calzaghe came out of retirement, he would most likely lose to Froch.
