I wouldn't watch him fight if he came back.

Had enough of him with his last 3 bouts.

In my opinion he missed his opportunity at greatness. Fighting Hopkins and Jones while they have one foot in th grave, doesnt cut it. Currently there is noone for him to fight to prove anything more. There was so many super fights that could have been made that he missed out on. He could have fought Toney, Griffen, Mcallum, Tarver, Michalzewski, prime Jones, prime Hopkins, Hill, Trinidad. Instead we were forced to watch him fight guys like Charles Brewer or a shot Antwun Echols. Its ashame, because he turned out to be pretty good. Thats what you get for signing a long term contract with Warren.

I really agree with you on this...I think he should stay retired. I know I would if I was him...it takes brains to retire, IMO. Nothing left to prove, but just for the sake of speculation I started this thread.

He accomplished everything in the ring he set out to do. Now the best thing he can do for Boxing is help his father develop young talent & put the Gym further on the world map.

Calzaghe should stay retired there is nothing left to prove. But if he was going to comeback for two more fights, he should take on Froch but at 175 then move up and challenge Adamek for the crusierweight belt. But really there is nothing left to prove and he should stay retired and go out on top, unlike Lennox, RJJ, DLH, and almost every other great champion in history.

I agree with this post 100 percent.

Yes, it would be nice if he challenged Dawson, but his health is important especially at his age.
