I never said he wouldn't beat Froch, in fact I'd say Calzaghe is the perfect style to beat him convincingly. I just disagreed with Kessler 'outboxing' Froch.
At the end of the day Calzaghe could throw more punches than anyone, with a good level of accuracy whilst being supernaturally evasive and durable himself. That is what makes him the most effective/best boxer ever.
I agree that he should and probably will stay required, he may feel his legacy is secured and who am I to argue. But a legacy is nothing more than what people remember you by, Lennox Lewis's legacy has improved over time where I believe Joe's has gone down to the point where most people will laugh at you if you dare to suggest he is an ATG. In my opinion and I am probably not alone, he had an ATG skill set and an average resume. Although people put it down more than they should, for example anyone who questions the B-Hop decision must be out of there mind, I've watched the fight 2 or 3 times and can't see how people would score it to Bernard. I thought he made him look a fool at times and remember being shocked when it was announced as a split decision and I'm a bigger fan of Hopkins than I am Joe.
