i said Tarver was good he was never anything great. Winky and Tito were great at 147 and 154, but Hopkins fought Winky at 170!!

The reason Joe never fought Johnson at 168 was because nobody cared who he was...in fact nobody did until he stopped a shot RJJ. a Solid journeyman at world level, nothing more.

i think Glen Johnson would be outclassed ala Brewer, though wouldnt be surprised if Joe won every single round ala Jeff Lacy.

Nobody realistic is suggesting he'd beat Jones, because he wouldn't, Jones' quickness and right hand lead would control the fight. But he absolutely shreds guys like Tito and Taylor, who aren't even real ELITE's at MW.

And for you to suggest that Taylor of all people is a better fighter than Kessler is just ****ing idiotic beyond the point, when the guy has easily 4x as many GLARING flaws as Mikkel does and is not even as skilled.

He obliterates Tito in 5-6, destroys Taylor and stops him around 10 after winning every round and wins lop sided decisions over Tarver and Johnson.

None of these guys aside from Jones are even in Kessler's class, not even close, and that was a 36 year old version of Joe at that who beat Kessler. And we have some people trying to say that Joe, even the 36 year old version that beat Kessler, LOSES to JERMAIN TAYLOR?

Let me just add to this insane thread.

Joe Calzaghe easily and handily beats everybody on Hopkins resume except Roy Jones. RJJ would beat Calzaghe on points or maybe a late tko. And he is the only one to do so. Joe also wins an easy UD against a prime Hopkins imho.

Kessler would beat everybody except Joe and RJJ.

Now that is a ****in' fact.

Kessler is a solid fighter. He has all the tools but also has a weakness against quick southpaws. Kessler isnt even in his prime yet.

Kessler would beat Johnson in a hard 12 rounder.
