    What would his record be?

(For the times Jones fought below 168, just give them the same skillset at a higher weight and decide if Calzaghe would have beaten them)

I don't think Tarver X 2 and Johnson would have beaten Calzaghe.

But then would Joe have beaten Toney, Hopkins and Ruiz?

Hopkins would be the biggest challenge, and it's really a pick'em. It would be a vastly different fight to the one we saw last week, Hopkins was a different fighter, but he also wasn't at his peak when RJJ fought him

Toney is quite flat footed, which is why I always gave Calzaghe the edge with his superior footwork

Can't imagine Joe at HW and retaining speed so that would be difficult. He has a different physique to RJJ, I think he'd find it difficult to put that on without looking fat

You obviously never saw James Toney at his best. He was not flat footed...

Calzaghe loses to the Hopkins, Ruiz (even though I hate Ruiz, just because Calzaghe couldn't do anything at Heavyweight), and Toney.

He is flat footed, and I'm a big fan of his fighting style

Why do your picks not suprise me? :yep

Then again, you did pick old Popkins, so we won't take them too seriously

He would probably look more worn-out at this point in time. Calzaghes planning for a long productive carreer has been no less than excellent.

He would of lost to Tarver at least once out out of the three fights, Johnson-who he backed out of fighting a few times, Toney- powerful and very skillful at SM, Ruiz- he would of been knocked out in short fashion, especially after Ruiz walks through the slaps and lands a hook or two of his own.

Joes power wouldn't be enough to hold anyone off at Heavy weight, IMO.

Which makes Jones victory over Ruiz all the more spectacular.
