If Calzaghe had picked opponents Froch style, how many defeats would he have had?

Probably only Jones imo, but it wouldn't be a massacre and Joe would give him some problems too. I'd favor Joe over everyone else in a fair fight

Hopkins ducked him all the way up to 2007. Here's a quote from the man himself confirming it...

This was after Calzaghe's masterclass vs Lacy. Hopkins didn't even bother fighting a heavyweight, he chickened out of that one too, settling for pretend heavyweight Mason Dixon coming off losing 45lbs

Do you often fantasize about Calzaghe?

I see what you're asking but here's a different perspective - Joe beats everyone on Froch's "Froch Style" resume and has beaten a more fresh Kessler and Reid, 2 common opponents.

But to answer the actual body of the thread - Joe loses to Prime Jones, Toney, and B-Hop

actually you picked the two most debatable of joes "wins", one against a crocked kessler with joe at home offering no return and vacating the belts to prevent it, and reid arguably a draw or loss.

But I agree with other common opposition, there would be more proof on offer. For some reason joe does not share the more dangerous names on Frochs CV, and froch has better home wins on the ones he does share with joe.

its difficult to dispute that, they might well stop joe in round 1 given that joe had to cheat to avoid to getting koed in seconds agianst old bhop.
