if calzaghe has one fight left, who does ESB vote it should be against?

Toss up between Kessler or Dawson. Dawson does have a belt but beating Kessler all over again would be sweet.

 

Calzaghe would dominate them all now he has settled into the weight,
I would say winky due to him being a well known fighter.

Dawson, he's been there and done that vs. Kessler and Hopkins.

 

Dawson and only because if he doesn't fight him, there will be a kick**** by the media due to Kellerman pointing him out as "The only guy left to beat"

Problem is, that fight likely makes Joe a pittance compared to some other options.

Picked Dawson, but Hopkins or to a lesser degree, G. Johnson are all acceptable.

 

Dawson is the fight to make.

 

If he were to fight again, presuming it would be in Wales then I could see it being against Carl Froch. Froch is English and isn't a very likeable character, in fact he is a bit of a *****, and Calzaghe is the media darling so this fight would potentially generate a lot of media interest in the UK and would be a perfect finale for Calzaghe. Froch is fighting for a belt against Pascal in December, should he win then a fight against Calzaghe could be possible.

 

In my opinion, Joe is done fighting.... but of the choices I would pick Glengoffe. Calzaghe owes Johnson a fight, and IMO, Johnson has earned the payday.
