I would have thought it would be more of an actual victory than a moral one....

In a similar vein as to Trevor Berbick's "actual" victory over Muhammed Ali.

Joe "Legend killer" Calzaghe has 45 moral victories with 32 immoral knockouts and 0 actual losses.

All Calzaghe KOing Roy will prove is that Roy is shot.

Call that whatever you will, but it's true. And has been for years, now. Beating up a former welterweight at light heavyweight, one who retired TWICE, does not change that.

I think it would raises questions if he was actually taken out.

I cant see Calzaghe stopping him, but id like to.

So Roy in his prime was the GREATEST OF ALL TIME?

Going by your criteria, a fighter with such a glass jaw, must be the GOAT if he didn't lose for his first 50 fights - fighting guys with a MUCH bigger KO rate than either Johnson or Calzaghe - and even being the first middleweight in over a CENTURY (and only the 2nd ever) to win a title at middleweight and then move up and win a title at heavyweight.

His defence must also be better than Pep's, too, right? Just going by your criteria...

LOL, Roy won a title NOT The Heavyweight Title. There is a HUGE difference there. Toney moved up and did the same thing against the same oppenent.

RJJ isn't in his prime. Glen stopped him and he isn't known for his power. I think Joe picked Roy at a perfect time just as he picked BHOP at his decline.

So. If his chin was glass, should he not have been stopped by the first punch that landed on him?

And look at the post and actually read it (if your capable)... Roy won A title at heavyweight. Fact.

You conveniently failed to answer my question though: Going by YOUR criteria, do you rate him as the GOAT in his prime, considering he went undefeated in his first 50 fights, fought fighters who were bigger punchers than Johnson and Calzaghe INCLUDING heavyweights, all with a glass jaw? Guys like B-Hop, Toney, McCallum, Hill, Ruiz - none of the guys could obviously even TOUCH him, so this guy's defence was better than Willie Pep's, right?
