And if he doesn't? You'll still go on about how much of a glass jaw you think he has.

So, in other words, you're a douchebag. :thumbsup

Roy was knocked down in his so called Prime by Lou De Valle. Roy won a belt he was not THE champ Lennox Lewis was. When Fitzsimmons did it he was THE champ not a paper belt holder like Roy was. You can't even compare the two.

Why did Roy handpick John Ruiz? Why did he not fight Byrd or one of the other Heavyweight champions at the time? I will tell you why because Ruiz was the worst of the bunch by a long margin he had not had a KO in over 3 years before the Jones fight.

That's all well and good, and I'm not trying to argue otherwise.

STILL - If Roy has such a bad chin, then why didn't Ruiz (a heavyweight, no matter HOW ****) not score a KO over him? :think

And please, read my whole post. Do you consider Roy the GOAT taking into consideration everything I wrote in my post above?

did I not just tell you why Roy handpicked Ruiz? Ruiz had not had a KO in over 3 years before his fight with Jones. Why are you trying to make Ruiz out to be come type of power puncher? He clearly is not.

Roy avoided power punchers in every weightclass he fought in. Fighting a bunch of police officers and bartenders does not mean a thing. His resume is utter garbage compared to other ATG fighters because he AVOIDED so many fighters. Why was he called Reluctant Roy? He was called that for a reason.

If he doesn't knock him out? Just means what people here have been saying for years and that is that Calzaghe has no punch. If Calzaghe loses the fight then his legacy will have to be questioned. As I said it all boils down to Johnson being able to KO Jones and his China Chin now we will see if a weak puncher in Calzaghe can do it also. We already know Roy has a Glass Jaw as evidenced by his 2 brutal KO's and his fear of getting hit now.

Dude, shut up already. Tarver caught Roy with a punch he didnt see coming, great punch. Johnson WORE Jones down with CONSTANT PRESSURE. It wasn't any single punch it was ACCUMULATION, of being beaten on for 9 rounds without firing back. When he fell his head hit the canvass which is what did most of the damage.

Besides the fact, they say the last thing to go on a fighter is his punch... I would say punch resistance would be one of the first in Roy's case especially. Dropping that much in muscle weight in a short amount of time can **** your body up. Which is evident to me because Roy seemed not himself ever since. I have seen him take punches before, his jaw is not glass it never was.

The answer to your question is no. Calzaghe can ko Jones with accumulation and constant pressure which could fatigue him at this stage in his carrer and would not mean he has a glass jaw. Will Calzaghe KO Jones in Tarver fashion? No way.

It doesn't matter how many KO's John Ruiz had. He was MUCH larger than Jones. He shouldn't have to be a power puncher to KO a former middleweight with a glass jaw right?

Oh yeah.... Can you name the bunch of police officers and bartenders that Roy fought? Just curious because I don't think you know what your talking about. Put up or shut up!

as soon as anybody uses the word "nuthuggers" in any argument - and i mean any - then that tells me they can't back up what they believe.

this is YOUR POST - and before anyone has even replied, you're already on the back foot!

Lou Del Vaulle is a bad example... He caught Roy flush and knocked him off of his feet, which Roy instantly got up to dominate the rest of the fight. A former middleweight fighting LHW's would have got knocked out by that punch if they had a glass jaw..
