Thats why it took him forever to fight Tarver! He ducked more then a few contenders in his day. Maybe he fight another Trinidad instead of Joe.

It took him forever to fight Tarver because Tarver LOST to Harding who Jones fought instead of Tarver because Tarver LOST. Get your facts straight.:hi:

Facts strait?! Why didn't Jones fight Gerald M, Benn ,Collins,Eubanks,etc. Because He would probably get knocked the **** out thats why! So he handpicked all his opponents!

It wasn't all Jones' fault that those fights didn't happen, im not sure why they didn't happen, but doubt Jones would be knocked out by all of them, thats a stupid presumption.

And Yes get your facts straight. You said It took Jones a long time to fight Tarver because Tarver was a power puncher. And I pointed out Jones would have fought Tarver much sooner if he would have beat Eric Harding. Jones would have fought Tarver but Eric Harding beat Tarver, so he fought Harding instead. What was Jones supposed to do? Fight Tarver as the looser of that fight? Then you would critisize Jones for going after the looser....

 

Why didn't thos fights happen? jones is too scared to go overseas! Too much of a risk. He can fight police officers like Richard Hall. Just because Jones beat harding doesn't mean he could beat Tarver. Styles make fights! Obviously,Tarver hit hard enuff to knock Jones out. Say what u want. He ducked all lot of opponents. I never said he would be knocked by all of them! But he was smart enuff 2 avoid certain opponents.

 

Okay so RJJ ducked alot of fighters right? So you expect the pound for pound king to travel to europe? Name one of the euro fighters that made a legitamate challenge to Jones to fight in the US, b/c there is no way in hell Jones needed any of them. :hi:

Tomato cans ? And yes he was P4P then ! I never new people like Toney Hopkins Johnson Griffen Harding and just about everyone worth mentioning in the lt heavy weight divisions were tomato cans :think

 

Yes he was the P4P best and why would the best have to leave his home turf? Where was JC, Eubank and the rest? Why didnt they come here, fight a tune up fight then challenge Jones for a best? B/c they would have gotten embarrassed, thats why. N:deal

 

He never gave Hopkins or toney a rematch did he? He did fight some tomato cans.+ he did a lot of runnning in his fights. probably explains why he doesn't have any legs! He never cleaned out his division either.
