If Calzaghe loses to Jones does it affect his Legacy, if so how badly?

    It would **** it up pretty hard. If Joe's gonna lose a fight b4 retirement-it certainly can't be this one.

    Regardless of my fanfair for anyone, I try to be as realistic as possible. My point is, I'm not sure Kelly can beat Joe DECISIVELY at this point. It would be damn close. Maybe Kelly by SD. I don't know. I just don't know.

    Combine a loss to Jones with the disputed decision in the Hopkins fight and you have a knockout blow to Joe Calzaghe's entire legacy. He'll become a bonafide "hype."

    Unfortunately there would indeed be a strong argument for this, even though I don't think that JC would have got chewed up in Jones' prime.
