So now it's Jones who ducked Calzaghe? GTFO
How about Calzaghe hiding all these years in his hometown instead of trying to make a fight with Jones. And please post a link where it says that Calzaghe actually offered Jones a contract. If this fight didn't happen it's because of Warren, and also Calzaghe that didn't demand a fight with Jones.

It is a pathetic thread, but let's put this to bed now: when Calzaghe won the WBO supermiddleweight title, Toney was fighting at cruiserweight. It would have been as ludicrous as it was impossible for Toney to burn off 20+ lbs to challenge for the WBO supermiddleweight title, the same as it would have been ludicrous/impossible for a young Calzaghe to put on 20+ lbs and gave up his new world title to fight a guy with no title. End topic here.

You sound silly saying Tarver has any chance at HOF because he does not and should not.

If Slappy was from the USA, I would still call him slappy because he does slap. Also if he was from the US, he would have fought MUCH tougher competition on his way up. Maybe he wins, or maybe he loses. I am not debating that. In the US, it is almost impossible to come up without getting attention and big fights. In the UK/EU it is FAR more likely to have someone with an inflated record of nobodies. This is not to say Joe cannot beat top comp, but he just recently chose to start fighting real fighters.
