If Canelo Alvarez beats Kovalev, would he be the best Mexican boxer of all-time?

    I have always rated Morales higher than MAB and JMM that I just kept him as the top one, but you're right, now that their careers have ended I can see why JMM can be ranked higher.

    I had Morales beating Barrera in the first and second fights. A fresher Barrera was sparked out by Pacquiao where as a battle worn Morales beat him. Also Junior Jones beat Barrera twice, Moraled TKO'd Junior Jones.

    Pac's prime appeared around the same time as his right hook. Roach rounded him out well.

    Canelo is still young, there are a lot of fights in front of him. He's definitely on the right track, whether he gets there is yet to be determined, but he's cut from ATG cloth regardless what the haters say.
