If it's super close, there could be a rematch. However, Canelo probably needs to win fight #2 to justify a trilogy. Two close losses and it's probably time to move on.....unless there's some serious controversy. Outside of a new welter taking the boxing public's attention by storm, there's not much on the horizon for Mayweather in the near future.
I could very well see an immediate rematch for next May if the fight is exciting and not a blowout. Def would be one if Floyd were to lose, as long as it wasn't by some sort of devastating stoppage. The trilogy would certainly happen if the first fight were to be a draw.
Like I said Oscars not Floyds friend. If this fight even looks competitive, I wouldn't be surprised at all if Floyd is robbed. People got to understand Oscars gonna do whatever he can to get Alverez to win this fight.
