If Canelo beats Lara I think him and Cotto should fight at Dallas Cowboys Stadium!

Miami Florida would be Great for a Lara bout and the i'm sure the Cuban community would rally behind him.

The "cuban community" will not (and never have) rally around Lara. White cubans in south Florida have absolutely no idea who Lara is.

Canelo was part of the 2nd highest selling PPV in history so he has some say where it's hosted at.
MSG isn't happening for Alvarez with the NYC taxes.

It'll be MGM grand for sure.

    What about a for a Cotto-Canelo clash?

There are plenty of Puerto Ricans in S.Fla. Cotto just fought in Orlando, 3 hours away from Miami, and produced a packed house at the Amway Center (where the Orlando Magic play.)

Arum has talked about hosting fights at the new Miami Marlins stadium in the past so it wouldn't be out of the realm of possibility that he would consider that location again.

True! A Canelo vs Cotto fight in the Marlins arena would be a huge event also and popular with the latin community. Scary thing about Florida is you never know when the next Hurricane, Tornado or Storm will hit next.

Indeed! I think it would be a huge turnout anywhere in Florida for a Cotto vs Canelo showdown.

I'd guess that tornados are more prevalent in Texas than they are in Florida. The threat of storms in general, unless the science forecasts a high percentage of possibility of impact, shouldn't be a legitimate deterrent here. Much more tangible barriers that would prevent this fight from happening in Florida than the weather - such as the areas history of lacking support of professional prize fighting. The promoters would have to ramp up their marketing efforts. Though, I do think the star power of Cotto and Canelo would garner the attention of the casual sports fans by the masses.
