wouldn't that mean he'll to face his mandatory in Demetrius Andrade? Whose a dangerous opponent for Canelo.

Again it will be like his middleweight belt situation before. He'll capture a an easy belt but be stuck with a deadly mandatory. Before he beat Cotto but got stuck with facing GGG but if he beats Liam Smith, he'll be stuck to face Andrade, another live dog. The junior middleweight division is a shark pool. You got Andrade, the Charlo brothers, etc. Then what does he do next? Vacate the title and go run somewhere else?

In theory yes, In reality no.

Canelo is a 24 carat coward in my opinion. GBP will try and pay Andrade off or drop the belt and Canelo will say "I'm too big for 154"

Then go back to middleweight and the minute Golovkin is mentioned again he will be "too small for 160".

I'm hoping and thinking he vacates it and fights at 160 in december like he's rumored to, fight BJS for his title in May and showdown with GGG for all the belts in september

Andrade doesn't have the social media backing to push Canelo into a fight. Unlike with Golovkin, Canelo has true A-side advantages in this matter and can do whatever he wants without being forced into any corners.

social media or not, the WBO could strip Canelo of his future WBO belt for not facing his mando. The WBC did it to him for not facing GGG, so why not the WBO also?

The WBC had pressure on them to do what was right. A lot of it. More than Andrade could put on Canelo. If you think the WBC stripped Canelo because it was the right thing to do and not doing it would break their moral code then you're just being silly.

You gotta be a moron to really believe that a guy who has been beating up grown men in the pro rank since he was 15 is afraid of another man.

Or maybe you're just projecting but anyone who can't see that this is all just a business move by Canelo/Golden Boy is simply being close minded and not looking at the whole picture.

He has already invited Andrade into the ring after the Smith fight, which shows he must be up for the challenge.

    :rofl:rofl:rofl

And what does the OP mean by "IF". Give me one scenario where Canelo loses? Smith has no pop in his punches so he won't be able to hurt Alvarez, and we all know it is impossible to beat golden boy's golden egg on points.

He could cut a leg off and go to 147. Probably safer than facing a dicey mandatory :hey

Canelo struggled to make 155 last time out. He may come in weight drained and weak at 154. We all saw how Geale looked like shyte for losing 2-3 extra pounds. I will LOL if he's weakened and dehydrated by the move and gasses and Smith takes him out late. :good

So boxers dont fear other fighters? there isnt such thing as avoiding certain fighters (i.e duck), its not that they are afraid of being punched in the face , but Canelo is 100% afraid of getting KO`d in front of his fans , he is afraid of looking bad and humilated in the ring , this things scare them , business wise (if he can win) GGG is the best move period , but he is scared of losing.
