Roy couldn’t have made 154 for a prolonged period.

    His peak was at MW-SMW.

I think that Joe would have been a bad stylistic match up for him.

I was very impressed with his dominance over Callum Smith. I’ve been following Smith’s career for a while. I was very surprised with the difficulty that he had with John Ryder though, just prior to his bout with Canelo. I’d like to see a rematch there. But Canelo is looking awesome now. For many years I’ve thought that Billy Joe Saunders could beat him at MW. I’ve been a huge fan of Billy’s for years. But I have to make Canelo a huge favourite now, especially at SMW. But hopefully, the fight gets made and Billy delivers.

Regarding Roy’s fight with Toney, I have no objection whatsoever to people downgrading the result due to Toney’s nightmare of making weight. That’s fine by me. But I honestly truly believe that the fight would have played out exactly the same, even if Toney had been at 100%, where he’d have fought to his full capabilities. It was just a horrible stylistic match up for him. There was just nothing that he could have done to combat Roy’s unorthodox style. The fight wasn’t fought at a fast pace. It was just Roy’s great athleticism and blinding speed that Toney couldn’t deal with.
