Kovalev, sure he was a top fighter and big name, I forgot about him. Jacobs was never a top name and at his peak was considered 3rd best in his division and paper title holder.

Canelo can clean out my room if he wants

    vacuum
    dust
    mop

anything he wants. Just be careful of the Fury paraphernalia

I like how those who think Canelo might have an argument to be ahead of Floyd are saying he needs to move up to 175.

    Clearly the answer is no.

Jacobs was a top MW. Certainly as good a MW as Jmm or Hatton was a welter, ,etc. Not saying bigger name or anything, just a comparable win.

A Head to head result doesn't prevent a fighter from surprassing another. Mayweather "schooled" Pacquiao too, it was a much wider decision than when he beat Canelo, but yet plenty of people still argue Pacquiao ranks higher than Mayweather all-time.

It's gonna be tough to ever make the case since, when they both met outside their prime (even though Floyd may have been closer to his), with Canelo a naturally larger man, Floyd beat him.

But he could easily have 10-12 more good wins, what then?

He beat him but it was competitive throughout. Getting a close Majority decision with the deck stacked against you vs Mayweather isn't a negative.

Canelo’s career will never exceed Floyd’s and he is not a Light Heavyweight. He beat a Kovalev who was past his best whose soul had already been taking by Andre Ward. Canelo did not look great at LightHeavyweight so 168 is probably his limit.

So what Floyd kicked his ass when they fought and gave him a boxing lesson. Floyd even taught how how to box. You can see Canelo is a fan of Floyd and tries to imitate his style.
