Canelos is possibly the biggest money fight out there for Floyd. So if Canelo destroys Trout, and Canelo's stock shoots up even higher, what are the chances of Floyd signing to fight Canelo?

    Canelo can wait it out.

He can demand 50/50 AND fight an aging Floyd 2, or 3 years from now

    Floyd can outprice himself again.

Floyd's hand is not strong at all.

The winner of this has the best win at 154 so you put them at the top
Regardless its a harder fight than anyone at 140 and 147 and Floyd has fought in this division so there's no excuses

This. I don't think he goes back to 154 period. Hasn't looked great there either time he went up, and they've been saying he was hit too much in the Cotto fight a lot. I don't think he or his camp like him at 154.

Hell no. Floyd always creates haters by not staging the fight fans really want to see. That's his MO. He's not changing that at this stage in the game. Plus, Canelo is too old to wait out a bit.

Canelo likes to fight in spurts. He likes to set his feet before he throw his deadly combos. If a Trout can hit and move consistently, then he'll win the fight. Canelo is a very patient fighter and has good skills, but he doesn't look impressive to me. He has great punching power and timing, but i don't think he's an all-around complete fighter.

The winner of Trout/Canelo would be a better win than Ortiz, Marquez, Guerrero
Trout beat Cotto better than Mayweather did so the winner makes sense
Why you scared your boy might lose, Floyd has no other challenges apart from these 2, if he moves up and takes the winner he deserves easy fights after that, right now the guy is wasting time fighting people who have no chance

Canelo beating Trout or Trout beating Canelo is much better than Guerrero beating Aydin or Berto so dont come with that bull**** logic
