If Canelo defeats Golovkin will he defend against actual middleweights?

hes actually done it already, vs 3G, the draw is considered a successful defence.
So thats a defence against arguably the best current MW... cant ask more than that.
    unless u mean 3g isnt a MW

No reason to believe he wouldn't.

Also this Lemieux win has blown Saunders massively out of proportion lol. He was always a little underrated on here but now suddenly he schools the entire division? Okay.

I’m not sure he could even make weight below 160 anymore

    Lol it’s hilarious.
Until Charlo beats an Andy Lee,Eubank,Lemieux or even Monroe I’ll take notice, until then he’s done nothing at Middleweight

So if theoretically Canelo defends against Jacobs, well, wouldn't most people say he's fighting an actual light heavyweight? Or is he a cruiser again?

But seriously, I would expect his next fights over the next two years to be the same win or lose in the rematch; Lemieux among them, maybe Lee or N'dam, and a big one with Saunders or Murata. If he loses in a hammering, definitely a 154 moving up might be expected, Sadam Ali type.

If he does beat 3G, has the rest of the belts. Don't expect him to face Saunders. Too risky, and why? Canelo will have enough belts at MW to say he's already the champ. Wouldn't be completely shocked if it was a high profile JrMW who he faced first (Assuming no third bout that is). And doubtful he'd face Jacobs right away. they'll milk it after two fights w/ 3G.

He will drag Errol Spence up to 160 and Spence will jump all over that payday.

Yeah yeah, we heard this song before, he's staying away from Trout, from Lara, from Golovkin, from the GGG rematch..

One thing Canelo is not is a ducker.

Both Charlo's underrated, wars with Errol Spence in Texas they well schooled brushed aside everyone they faced especially Jermell.
Jacobs should've got the decision over GGG gave him as hard if not a harder time than Canelo, completely demolished Arias.
BJS beat Lemieux...lol fcking donkey same guy who was schooled and stopped by an over the hill Rubio
Put BJS with either Charlo or Jacobs, different story

Nah, I think both Charlo's are overrated, they both should have losses by now, Jermell to Vanes and Jermall to Trout, they'll be exposed badly against an elite fighter.

I said Saunders was a nightmare for Canelo on here years ago, and not based on his win over Lemieux, I've always held BJS in incredibly high esteem, just against Lemieux he showed everyone else what I've always believed he was capable of.

Didn't say a ducker. And I didn't say any of those, so do everyone a favor, go find out who said those, and address them personally. Your lame ass "3G fans say this, 3g fans say that..." routine is garbage.

That just might be GGG's weakness because Saunders had the best stamina I've ever seen him or any middleweight with in the Lemieux fight. He could dance the night away on Golovkin or Golovkin will have to go all out and just bomb away on BJS. I really hope that fight happens
