If Canelo defeats Golovkin will he defend against actual middleweights?

Where is Andy Lee? He could be making a million plus this year just testing this young flock of 160 guys out. Hell, he could be putting himself in position of a GGG or Canelo fight by just looking half decent.

That's exactly what I think Oscar wants to do. He keeps trying to court Spence over to GBP and I don't think it's to fight 147 guys because he has none to offer. *(He has a few ,but he has yet to break them to an audience outside of Palm Springs and L.A.)

The GGG of 3/4 yr ago could do that, now its a tall order, I think he fades trying !

No, Canelo is after the money and he doesn't want to become a vegetable after his career is over. That's why he fights twice a year.
He'll pick a guy with a recognizable name that generates good payday.
Think: Spence, Thurman, Kell Brook, Horn.

You think after 2 grueling fights with GGG he's gonna face Charlo/Jacobs/Saunders? LOL

Canelo's resume takes a huge stinky **** over Golovkin's resume.

That's all that matters at the end when they compare legacies.

Canelo isn’t gonna fight BJS due to him likely getting outboxed. Charlo will be he Mando to the WBC he don’t want that work either

The WBC title is not on the line for part 2 due to the beef about being stripped 2 years ago.

Canelo never fights anyone, he only has the best resume out all the top MWs.

Oscar will own the judges, referee, boxing commission and Bob Bennett will be there to protect El Pollo in any way he can. This fight will be fixed as much as possible, El Pollo will land a lot of blows to Golovkin's testicles, that is there plan, Weeks will stop the fight after one of two testicle blows.............Hopkins has already told us.............go back and see what he said..............Call Bob Bennett and tell him you will not stand for another robbery! Tell him you will boycott Vegas fights if this one is fixed, (it will be) call: 702-486-2575

The better question is what fighter in the past few years between 147-60 has a better resume than Canelo. Answer that question and you come to the answer of the original post.

if Canelo & BJS fought each other like they did vs Golovkin & Lemieux you'd have to put them in a phone booth to ever get a glove laid on one of them. Both Canelo & BJS are full of ****. they say they're going to knock someone out but clearly the strategy is survival. pop shot and get the hell out of dodge, lmao. how they have any fans is beyond my understanding.

After GGG, Canelo will fight a cherry pick. Not knocking him for that, every boxer usually does it after tough fights. And as for fighting MW after, there are none as tough as GGG. So Canelo has it made for a few years until another GGG threat type emerges or he gets older. He already lost his toughest fight at MW anyways.
