    You can't put Alvarez vs. Lara on PPV. I know we'd all love for fights to be made purely on merit, but that's not how the sport works.

    That's just one of the interesting angles in this fight. Lara was able to do better against Canelo's "left over" now let's see if Canelo can reciprocate.

    I agree. I'm a bit shocked at how many give Angulo no chance. He won't be fighting Angulo the same way he fought Trout or Mosley IMO.

    Man, Canelo's weigh-ins make more money than lara's fights. Let's not pretend Lara has any chips in this...

    Lara lost to molina...got planted on his ass HARD 2x by slow caveman Angulo...

    people forget (conveniently) that prime angulo got SCHOOLED by a shot and well past prime version of kermit f-ing cintron.

    So please...spare me bro

    everybody thought they wouldnt put Angulo on PPV. yes Lara doesnt sell more, we shall just see what happens. I hope Lara doesnt sit around, he needs to fight soon to keep the pressure on. Some point Canelo is gonna have to fight him, who else will he fight at 154??

    Most probably Lara will be matched with Molina or Kirkland. And yes, at some point Canelo will have to face Lara (if Lara keeps winning fights) .

    Floyd vs Lara @ 154/152 lbs would be a dream match IMO !

    its not a duck its a good business decision.

    canelo cant beat the top guys at 154 because of his limited skill set so the best plan of action is to make as much money as possible in the shortest time frame as possible.

    that means no kirkland, lara, rosado or andrade.

    if you were canelo and gbp you would do exactly the same.

    I got Angulo winning, Canelo doesnt have the workrate and power Kirkland does or the speed and movement of Lara, if Angulo's eye is fine it will be a long night for Canelo

    Dont think so, if Canelo gets dropped he wont survive, if you have a low workrate you have to move to keep away from Angulo, Canelo's feet are way too slow

    Canelo can beat everybody at 154! Limited skill set, how is that?? from what i seen hes very accuract, great combination puncher, good footwork, good power, good defense. Lara would be a 50-50 fight and Canelo beats everybody else. KO's Kirkland,Rosado

    I dont think Canelo has a low workrate. Trout is a very akward fighter, hard to throw alot of punches against him. and Mayweather...everybody has a low workrate with him. somebody like Angulo he will be swinging like crazy because he has too. I really like Angulo but he has a very very slim chance to win that fight
