If Canelo doesn't fight Lara in July 26 its a duck

    I've played devil's advocate on Lara before, but he's stepped his game up and produced a war with Angulo and an easy win over Trout. He's consistently fought tough opposition.

    The dude deserves an Alvarez fight. We all know deserving and getting it are two different things, but Lara has earned his shot. :deal

    Yea he has and July should be the day. Canelo has a backing so its gonna sell anyways. casual fans dont know Lara to much but ALL boxing fans do and that should be enough to sell the fight. Lara just cant wait around, needs to get a fight in the next 2 months

    People who don't think it will sell are dead wrong IMO. It's only logical to step up to the guy who holds victories over your top 2 wins, anyways. Especially if you want to be PPV level.

    I still think they'll wind up chasing a Cotto payday first, but I hope Lara doesn't keep getting shut out for too long.

    It's time!!

    I love some Canelo and he will KO Lara when the fight happens but it needs to happen in July. Im sticking with my post, its a true duck if he doesnt.

    Then the super fight with Cotto or Martinez in Novemeber and i will have tickets to that!!

    Lara is the perfect guy to avoid. He has no fan base, is a southpaw and a very skilled boxer. Wouldn't surprise me if he never fights Lara.

    Angulo beat the Hell out of Lara, only to get a thumb in the eye, but look at the difference of Angulo/Lara and Alvarez/Angulo. Alvarez would knock Lara out.............
