The median household income for Cuban Americans is $36,671, a figure higher than all other Hispanic groups, but lower than that of non-Hispanic whites.

In contrast, US-born Cuban Americans have a higher median income than even non-Hispanic whites, $50,000 as compared to $48,000 for non-Hispanic whites.[4]

    Education[edit]
25% of Cuban Americans have a college education, about twice the average of all other Hispanic groups, and lower than that of non-Hispanic whites, of which 30% are college graduates.[4]

39% of US-born Cuban Americans have a college degree or higher, as compared to only 30% of non-Hispanic whites

the question is why all this well educated cubans wont support lara or rigo??
even they know how boring those fighters are, empty arenas, low ratings, etc...

the question is why the promoters don't do their job and bring those Cubans to SF? I was at the Miami Arena when Casamayor fought seda and the place was packed, in 2012 they show Barthelemy, Socarras and a couple of other Cubans at the doubletree and the place was packed juanma was doing the telecast for puerto rico tv, now why they showing their fights in minnesota, Atlantic City or texas? Why not Miami, by the way I post those statistics to educate some ppl, if you read his post he was implying that we didn't support our fighters because we can't afford a ticket, far from the truth, go to any event in South Florida and count the Cubans there... We don't go out our way to travel for a fight unless we have to, but bring the event to us here and you will not be disappoint it.

Yes i am prasing him for that!! Martinez anit fighting GGG like he's supposed too. Mikeys not fighting Gamboa, Quillien not trying to unfiy, Stevenson not trying to fight Kovlaev..so YES im prasing him. Canelo and Lara are both G's for taking the fight. everybody knew Lara would though. so more props to Canelo :bbb:bbb

This is one of the rare good match up, and should make for a very exciing and competitive fight.
Both fighters have geat potential, and both have had their flaws exposed in recent previous fights.
Of the two, I think that Lara has the better chance of correcting his habit of pulling back while dropping his hands and will tighten up his defence.

Canelo has shown that he can deal with a slick southpaw with trout, but I think that Lara is a little more slick than Trout and has more pop. Both Lara and Canelo defeated trout by UD.
Lara's only lose is to Paul Williams who defeated Lara by a narrow SD.

In this fight I think that I am going with Lara with a win by TKO.
I think that Lara will cut Canelo badly and the fight will be stopped on cuts/facial injury.
