"Names" kind of do mean something. :roll:atsch For example, beating a "name" like Erislandy Lara would be more impressive than beating Dominic Wade. Maybe someday Golovkin will actually beat one.:deal
hahahaha lara would not last 1 round with GGG to small and weak lara does not have a legit punch resistance for mw broner has a better name than david lem i guess that means broner is a tougher fight ahahahah you ****ing fool
Well, IF Golovkin ever fights someone as good as Lara, maybe we'll find out. But Golovkin is in his mid 30s, and he hasn't even fought someone as good as Lara yet. Golovkin is clearly a good fighter. But his opponents are awful. Just bad. And quality wins do matter. Even though you don't think they do.:hi:
And he (Lara) would be the biggest win on Golovkin's resume if he actually fought him. That tells you all you need to know about Golovkin's resume.
No, I think Murray and Lemieux both beat him. Rubio would be a live underdog and even the Ouma that Golovkin fought could possibly beat him.
You are serious, right? Dude canelo beat up trout, that fight wasn't close at ALL. Fyi: that was open scoring so canelo knew how far up he was after 4 and 8. Obviously you can't score or don't know the criteria, i guess the lara fights was fairly close. But in all honesty, can you give me a single round after round 3 that lara fought evenly ? Not even a winning round, just a single round that could've gone either way.. You give me that, if it checks out ill stfu about lara losing badly. Because after a couple body shots, lara fought to strictly survive. It's like he listened to the dumbest fans, banking on canelo folding in the late rounds. To lara shock, canelo kept getting stronger and lara did everything he could to not engage with canelo
The best fighter Lemieux has ever beaten was N'dam. (And Lemiuex has lost to a couple guys he shouldn't have lost to.) And who was the best guy Murray had his hand raised against? Max Bursak or Nick Blackwell? Murray might be the most overrated fighter on this entire forum ... and that's saying a lot. Alvarez beats everyone Golovkin has faced without much trouble. The most accomplished guy Golovkin has beaten was Geale. And if Alvarez signed to fight Geale, people's heads on this site would explode. On the other hand, if Golovkin signed to fight Mayweather or Cotto or Lara or, hell, even Trout ... Golovkin would be favored, but they'd all praise Gennady for finally stepping up ... even though they were older, more worn versions than the fighters Alvarez faced.
You talk about overrated fighters and then talk about Trout lol. What's Trout ever done apart from beat Cotto,a Cotto who lets face ir was looking worse for wear prior to hooking up with Roach. Lara, went life and death with Angulo, should have lost to Molina and was kneck and kneck with Vanes yet at the same time these are the fighters GGG need to beat? As for Cotto he's already avoided GGG and Floyd has an offer on the table at 154. As for Murray I've never said he was anything special but whilst he has no big wins he should have got the nod against Sturm. Was unlucky against Martinez and Abraham.
If Canelo beats all Golovkin's past opponents easily then he shouldn't have any problems fighting Gennady should he?
