    Besides, to emulate Canelo, he'd have to go up and face Pacman, who's the oldest of the champions available.

    Loma should be trying to fight a big name. Not sure how anyone would be against this. It's not about moving up, it's about finding super fights

    Loma moving up again to fight Manny and Canelo moving up to fight Kovalev far out does Ray beating a light heavy on the level of Lalonde, also when Ray fought Hagler, Marvin had less hand speed than Kov has right now. Ray cemented his legacy long before he beat Hagler by beating legends like Hearns, Duran and Benitez at the lighter weight, beating those guys at welter was harder than beating Hagler in `87 and Ray did not win that fight conclusively.

    You are more then welcomed to believe that Loma will be completely forgotten... Irony is, he won't be forgotten by some obsessed hater like you.

    But you're first paragraph says it all. You hate Loma because of what some fans claim. How is it that guys like you, who form hatred over other fans opinions, don't see how stupid that is to blame the fighter for what fans say. Get a grip FFS...

    Fair point about him having tougher fights at lower weights, but it was on Hagler to win that fight convincingly way more than it ever was on Leonard.

    Hagler was coming off a layoff, moving up in weight to fight an established champion, and Hagler was the one who had been chasing him all those years. Hagler should have steam rolled him, same as GGG was supposed to against Canelo.

    And for the record I did think Leonard win that fight
