great chance, and mayweather goes down. mayweather is a lot smaller than trout. ariza will make sure canelo loses those 2 extra lbs and keeps his strength and speed. remember canelo surprised trout w a completely different game plan than he was expecting. i believe canelo will surprise mayweather as well, of course mayweather will adjust much better than trout did, so the first 4-5 rounds will be crucial for canelo to get the knockdown/knockout or build a lead on the cards.

Im hoping he lands more than one. I doubt Floyd will be able to deal with getting hit with bombs like that repeatedly considering Floyd isnt likely to get hit with the same thing more than a couple of times. Alverez better have a few game plans for trying to hurt Floyd, and when he is hurt cause he needs to place his shots well even if he manages to sting him

The punch that will wreak the most damage will be the jab and uppercut. The right hand of course but that uppercut to the body and head will be great, canelo has great timing he will catch mayweather specially with the combinations.

trout was 170 lbs heavy, this right hand would AT LEAST KD mayweather and hurt him badly

Only problem is floyd wont follow canelo like trout and no open scoring to help canelo this time also. Canel will feel what it's like to be down on the cards and we will see if he's a mexican or mexican't.

Floyd might wobble but he wouldn't go down.

It took canelo half the fight just to land it clean on trout lol, floyd will take his left hook away and his straight right leaving canelo unsure to throw anything but jabs which will get countered by floyds straight rights.

    :deal

People overlook Canelo from a technical standpoint and casual boxing fans alike just go with the popular fighter that they like.

Canelo WILL be surprising to them in this fight, but for us that like the science of boxing, Canelo got skillz.

Over the course of 44 fights, I am sure Floyd has taken a few hard punches. If you argue otherwise it stands to reason why the idea that he would even get hit with such a punch by Canelo is silly to begin with.

Canelo seems to have suddenly transformed into some kind of master technician from what you read on here. :?

From what I remember he was swinging and missing a lot against Trout.

Mayweather is going to box his ears off as far as I can see.
