atsch I'm not saying he won't land a right hand on Floyd, but you're comparing a southpaw stance to an orthodox stance, it's a night and day difference. Trout was more open to that punch, whereas Floyd will be able to shoulder roll it.

 

if canelo lands a strong right cross (highly doubtful) floyd will buckle then clinch see mosley. What is more than likely to happen when saul throws a right is it gets rolled and he gets countered clean

 

Floyd will get up and recover I believe, I mean he took a monster shot from Shane and didnt even go down most fighters would have gone down from that one shot.

its Floyd conditioning I believe that will allow for him to get up and recover, not sure how long it will take for him to recover enough to get back in the fight though, I believe there is a chance that if Floyd does get dropped sure he gets back up and recovers by moving away but I think he may end up damaged enough in where he doesnt win many rounds from the point of the KD.

Chances are good here, But I believe Canelo should focus on the body, Jab Floyds chest area, jab his left shoulder he keeps his left hand down so hit that shoulder the force of the jab should square Floyd up enough to thread through that straight right hand.

What you may be forgetting is that Floyd has a proven iron chin and the best defense in the game, not to mention excellent recovery powers. 44 fights and he's never even been knocked down once. Should he be hit with a similar shot by Canelo, he will be hurt for sure, but I feel that he's too slippery and smart for the likes of Alvarez, and will be able to find a way to clinch for a few seconds, recover, and then come back fighting harder to make up for it.

Trout was getting wobbled by Cotto's right cross, so i think Floyd takes it. Alvarez's power is really nothing special atm.

 

Nothing happens, Floyd maybe gets slightly stunned. That punch didn't look harder than the one Mosley landed on Floyd. Trout has been stunned by smaller/lesser punchers than Canelo like Delvin and Cotto, it's why I knew Trout was going to be on his bike against a guy with the power of Canelo.
