No, billy joe has said he will not fight at a catchweight. It will be at 160. Billy joe can beat canelo, he's very good and underrated and has a style canelo does not like

Money does talk but Billy has had weight issues before. He barely makes 160 and tends to get fat off season.

Billy also has a MW belt as a negotiating tool.

100% Canelo doesn't fight unless he has some kinda advantage and two judges in his pocket.

This fight comes down to hand speed.

If BJS is the quicker man he can force Canelo out of his comfort zone and make him fight on the front foot.

Canelo boxes well on the front foot as he showed against Trout and Lara, but BJS is a lot more active than those and throws hurtful combinations. It is interesting.

I tell you what though, if BJS does beat Canelo, Golovkin better be willing to take the short change cos BJS will wanna get paid to face Golovkin. I can see him making Golovkin a paltry offer to come over. G then has to decide how much it means for him to be champion.

TBH I'd like to see BJS winning vs Canelo, but I think Canelo would try to have every possible advantages, weight, referee, venue, judges, plus I think BJS is on a down way due of inactivity, weight issue, probably isn't so hungry as he was before.:think

Actually it comes down to power and bjs needing a Ko to win.
Be real, bjs is a poor mans Lara and you saw those manufactured punch stats. Canelo landed half the bodyshots they said he landed if that. The announcers will start talking about all this power and all these shot that your not seeing, won't say **** about what bjs is doing, and at the end of the fight 2/3 judges cards will match how the announcers called the fight. Canelo fans and fly by nighters will have bought it hook line and sinker. Canelo fans will be raving about how bjs didn't wanna fight and all he did was run and hold. They will say bjs didn't wanna win.
    Lol
