I wouldn't say he ran really. He fought mostly on the backfoot but he engaged plenty enough for it to not be a run job.

Canelo is and always will be a counterpuncher and is the most skilled boxer Golovkin has faced hence his marked uo face. Canelo moved front , back side to side and took advantage of his openings when they presented themselves.
