If we see another absolutely blatant, obvious show of corruption in this fight.......what happens? Anything? How many more times does it have to happen, before something is done about it? CAN anything be done about it?
Boxing was corrupt well before Canelo and will continue to be well after he is gone. No one cares about cleaning it up and disrupting the moneypot.
Nothing will happen as nothing happened the previous two times. Corruption has been a part of boxing from the very start and will continue long after we've gone.
There's a good chance Canelo can win legit this time. GGG looked strong and powerful as ever against Murata but he also looked slow AF. Canelo's speed edge is what will be the killer here. Golovkin needs a way to deal with it or he's going to get picked off and countered into oblivion.
Nothing can be done about it thats the sad part The State Commissions rule the sport. That makes the NSAC rule over Nevada (Vegas). Lets be honest here does anyone here REALLY believe that they don't know what is going on regarding Canelo & his blatantly obvious " FRIENDLY" judges in Vegas. Among other blatant " help" he receives If the truth be known theyre probably the ones behind it all. After all he is the Vegas Cash Cow !! Its happened TWICE!! Whats to stop it happening again ?? GGG will never get a winning decision in Vegas If he takes the fight he'll have to go all out to get a KO win or stoppage victory. I fear that if he allows Canelo to hear the final bell all he'll get out of it is a great pay day. Sad state of affairs isn't it
Canelo will stop Lil g and the result should be investigated. Specifically as to who thought it was a good idea to put Canelo in with a pensioner.
Very sad, indeed. I recently asked if someone could list all of the questionable things that have transpired in Canelo's career, and one of the posters was kind enough to do just that - and I was shocked. Then when the Bivol cards were revealed, that was absolutely unacceptable. I really do wonder, what would have to happen, in order for there to be some type of justice? Is there such a thing as going too far, in a situation like this?
At this point the actual official result is about as important as belts. They're just for money and protecting financial interests. This is why no one takes a big fight until they're in their 30s, they know they'll lose unless they're the blatant A side.
