Calzaghe would have beaten Froch...who knows, maybe he could now but he hasn't. Froch has fought everybody out there while Calzaghe didn't.
Froch has had a better career.

 

I can't think of another British fighter who has fought as many quality world class professional fighters

I think froch is very very underrated and under appreciated

If someone can name me a British fighter who has ever had a better resume let's hear it

 

Froch for me. People say Calzaghe was number one in his division but would he have been if he had Andre Ward there at the same time?

Even then I think it's a silly reason to have someone over another.

Put Froch's resume next to Calzaghe's and Froch's is better IMO.

 

Based on resume, or willingness to fight the best, and travel to fight the best ?

Joe did what all frog eyes fighters do, stay at home, fight nobodies.

Whilst i think fat Mick stalled Frochs career, when he had the chance to make fights, he made them.

 

Different but nearly as good as Joe's career.

I rate Joe's career a bit higher because:

Joe's best wins > Carl's best wins.
Went undefeated.
Became #1 in the division.
Went up in weight and beat a highly rated fighter.

 

Calzaghe and Froch have both have had great careers. Froch had the benefit of the Super six tournament which made him, but Joe beat the better fighters and ruled his division, so Calzaghe's had the better career.
