If Charlo beats Castano, where does he rank P4P?

It's a damn good thing P4P isn't based of Josh Taylor fans....

Probably around 8-10.

 

I'd have the likes of Usyk, Inoue, GGG, Canelo, Teo, Loma, AJ, Taylor, Crawford, Porter, Pac, Bivol, Beterbiev, Briedis, Estrada, Rungvisai, chocolatito, Spence etc over Charlo and that's just the guys off the top of my head.

And comparing him to Taylor is downright dim. All three of Taylor's best wins are better than any of Charlo's, and Taylor hasn't lost to anyone.

 

Plus he lost most of the rounds to Harrison

 

I'd take them over Charlo fans who think he's on equal measure with a guy who unified an entire division in 18 fights (away from home) & never once lost or got a dodgy decision versus the likes of Vanes or Harrison.. I highly doubt Josh walks around at 30lbs+ over his weigh in weight between fights too, which I suspect Charlo does. Charlo has the frame of a fkin SMW..

 

Some on here are saying that wouldn't be enough to make Charlo P4P, because his resume would still be weak.

Well, Crawford is top 3 P4P, and his best win is Postol.

 

He also gets criticised on his resume.

It would be like saying if Hurd beats Julian Williams, he should be top 10.

 

I miss the days when guys actually beat several top opponents and champs just to get to the bottom half of the top ten.
