    Beating the champ makes you the champ.
    It's always been this way and always should be. Today it all looks a bit fuzzy because there are 3 beltholders, a few reasonable contenders and a few non-deserving contenders that are actually fighting for the belts because the others are or the KFC menu.

    But Wlad is the champ, and if you're able to beat him you are the champ!

    You can't expect Wlad to fight the #2, and he's tried to get the #3 in the ring, aswell as a lot of people's number #4 at the moment, who have both ducked him. He beat Chagaev - who should have held the WBA belt - and was probably the #3 guy in the division at that point.

    I think boxing needs more fans like us that stop listening to "the consensus" or "the crowd" or "the man". :thumbsup ...Well, unless "the man" refers to SNV...obviously.

    People that say wlad isn't a real HW champ don't know **** about boxing.
    If Chisora beats him. Ie batters wlad for 6rds and the kos him in 8th. He will be THE CHAMP.

    Rocket science it ain't.

    He would be ring champ so number 1 in the world by them.

    If you believe that Wladmir isn't Lineal champion then I think he goes in at number 1 or number 2.

    Either way if he were then to be Vitali he would be Lineal Undisputed heavyweight champion of the world.

    the way i see it.

    if you rank wlad as THE CHAMP (he has beaten number 3 chagaev, so it is feasible) then chisora should be THE CHAMP, should he beat wlad.

    if you rank wlad as #1(he hasnt beaten number 2 vitali, so it is feasible) then chisora should come in at #1, with wlad dropping to 4.

    what i dont think, nor agree on, is if chisora wins, people put him in at number 5, or anything other than where they currently rank wlad.

    Fluke or not, wins over Wlad, Sexton x2 and shot Williams is a much better resume than wins over Valuev, shot Ruiz, shot Barrett and Harrison (who's a step or two down from Sexton IMO). If Chisora wins, I don't think you can rank him below Haye.
