If Clinton wins, would you put Cleverly in with him next?

FW is known for getting the timing right in moving his fighters on. I see this as safer than Khan v Barrera

    Again in an ideal World.
However, why on earth would Hobson do Warren a favour ?

Depends on just which Clinton Woods shows up in his next fight. Could be a very good move or a total catastrophe! Just not sure if Clinton is indeed over the hill just yet

Clinton has been past it for years and been getting these title shots without doing anything to merit them. Cleverly would box the **** out of him, Woods is a robot.

No- Woods is a seasoned pro. Cleverly should focus on the European scene next and see where that takes him:good.

Maybe. I'm sure he could handle himself against Woods, Woods is not hugely dangerous. He's a boxer not a puncher. Cleverly is a boxer. But Cleverly is a lot younger, faster, fresher. Experience is the only real difference.

If the opportunity came up I would, but I wouldn't push for it. He could make a couple more gradual steps first.

I don't think this fight will happen at any stage.

We still don't REALLY know what Woods has. He was whooped by Tarver, who was in turn beaten handily twice by Dawson.

Granted it was the worst performance of his career - by his own admission.

Cleverly's best win to date is Tony Oakey.... he has yet to face a guy with a punch and a chin.

Clear that hurdle then start talking about guys like Clinton.

Cleverly should defend his title two three times then go for the European title.

I agree if Woods loses then consider him depending on how bad he loses. But its like they say a fighter always has one last good fight. Clinton brings a wealth of experience. Its to soon for Clinton to challenge for the title. He should tast the euro first then get some experience on the world scene.

The 175 division is thread-thin, there really isn't any European scene to be honest.

I agree. If he loses it's a possibility, it would be a stepping stone and a good name on Cleverly's record, if he beats Cloud I'd be surprised and like you, therefore deem it too dangerous at this point for Cleverly.
