if clottey beats cotto will he be in the mix?

    Alot of talk about pacman vs. Cotto/pbf/ssm but what if clottey beats cotto to become ibf and wbo champ, will he be in the mix aswell?

    In my opinion this is the real test for cotto post margo. As for pbf he should be fighting ssm not jmm. But pacman needs to fight jmm if he beats pbf (slim chance you never know in boxing) and see if he can get a decisive victory after two close fights or jmm gets "justice"/revenge :)

    I thought the IBF belt wasn't on the line? Has that been changed, since I have been hearing some still calling this a unification bout?

    I Clottey beats Cotto he should go after SSM. SSM won't want him as his 1st choice cuz he ain't a $ name, but if Pac-PBF happens, SSM won't have any choice other than Berto. No way PBF or Pac will want it wit Clottey. If Cotto loses by close decision in a good fight, I wouldn't be surprised to see a rematch wit Clottey happen.

    No he wont be in the mix. If Clottey wins, people are going to forget about his ass the same way they did Paul Williams. Hopefully if he wins he would give Paul a shot at the title.

    they stripped the IBF belt from clottey that fight will be for cottos WBO belt only

    So let me get this straight from some of you. Clottey is already going to be getting no credit if he beats Cotto? Or do you just mean you don't think he will win and so it doesnt matter, because thats different.

    Of course if Clottey wins he will be in the mix..

    check boxrec.com i know its boxrec .com but it says there only fighting for the wbo belt

    He brings cred, a title, and notoriety. Not every fight made needs to have a cash cow to be made.
