If Clottey defeats Margarito in a rematch

Not more skill then Cotto.

 

If Clottey beats Margo you might as well put Clottey, Williams, Margo, Cotto and Mosley's names in a hat and get your top 5 P4P welters that way.

Not a slight on Clottey but rather a testament to the welterweight class.

 

On pure skill alone, Andre Berto is tops.

Clottey will need to be busier than against Zab Judah

 

A guy like Clottey cannot be taken lightly. He has a good defense, throws good combinations with power. I am a fan of Antonio Margarito, but it is certainly possible for Clottey to beat him on pts depending on how Clottey comes in and it would require Margarito to have a sub-par performance like he did in their first bout. But if both come in top form, which I expect both guys to be in, I see Margarito out working Clottey.

 

Dodger stadium is out, too expensive. They're looking at Anaheim now.

 

Damn, that's too bad. Imagine the atmosphere for that one.

 

If Clottey does this he should fight Williams.

 

I have been saying for a while that Clottey is Margaritos toughest opponent.
This guy gets understimated around here alot. He has the Winky defense not to mention is a huge WW and has good pop.
If anyone at WW is gonna beat Margarito I think Clottey is the one to do it.
His defense can nullify Margaritos constant attack but then again his body seems fragile and blocking all of Margos shots would probably hurt those hands or arms not to mention the big shots he will land on Margarito. I can almost feel Clottey being beaten by his own body against Margarito.
