Do we still want Pacquiao vs Floyd/SSM or does Clottey get that fight? Will Clottey go on to earn massive $$$ headline big drawing PPV's? What does Pac do if he loses? Winner/loser of Floyd/SSM? Retire? Comeback fight later in the year?

I think Pac will win fairly comfortably on pts down to volume of punches and workrate. Clottey is hard as nails but i just dont think he throws enough to keep Pac off.

If Pacquiao loses ESB servers will most likely implode. Bob Arum will kill himself. Pacquiao will retire, Clottey will fight Mayweather and get beaten.

it will send boxing right to the toilets. people dont realise its pacquiao and his sensational boxing style that has gotten this sport more limelight and attraction. not mayweather at all

on a world wide base pacquiao has become a sensation

IMO the most likely outcome is Pac by decision :D

You talk as though Pac is bigger than the sport and is the only fighter worth watching. You would throw boxing in the toilet. Speak for yourself. Fake boxing fans will never get it.

Yeah that's what my head says but my gut says it won't last that long. Plus in another thread I said I'm on the Underdog Express and I want to be a man of my word:cool:

mayweather and pac are both bigger than the sport

you do as well i do if one went the sport will go down the toilet. which ever sport it is you need sensational performers. i wouldnt stop watching but a hell of a lot of others will

thing about sports is all of it is entertainment , you dont entertain, you dont get lots of fans.

pac has taken boxing to a new level, a level mayweather couldnt take it because he didnt get people off their seats when boxing. the only guy really left now is pac who does that.

there were times when there were 4-5 sensational boxers like lennord/hagler and others who lifted people off their seats and nobody knew who was going to win

for the first time in a long time people really cant say with confidence who will win with pac vs may. if that goes in the toilet then the fake fans who give the sport the lift to super stardom will go

Why can't you stop mentioning Floyd? Don't be such a hater. Neither Pac nor Mayweather are bigger than the sport. I'm not talking casual fans. I'm talking real fans. You can't even mention Pac without some of these haters saying something about Floyd. Example: Is Manny the best fighter of the last 10 years? Some hater would have to say something like,"he's better than Mayweather when that had nothing to do with the question.

The title of the thread is if Clottey pulls off the upset. Not where does Mayweather fit in the equation if Clottey pulls off the upset. If Clottey pulls off the upset then it's good for boxing. Ever heard of controversy? If Clottey loses it's good for the sport. Ever heard of a build up?

Boxing doesn't need Pac to survive.

It needs for Bob Arum to jump from Jerry Jones' skybox at Micheal Irvin Stadium.

Clottey is going to have to bring something we haven't seen before to win. Pacquiao will just have to be Pacquiao.
