clottey was hit with a jab while his feet was square.he did not have a foot behind to catch his self so he got knocked on his ass.people take one inch and run a mile dont they ?

if you notice after that, maybe you did not but clottey jumps up and is pissed off because he went to down off such a shot.facial expression's tell alot about a fighter when they get hit, he looked more embarssed and pissed then anything.and the next rd he came out guns blazin and really hurt coto.

so i dont understand how you can use that and think thats a bad habbit he has.only time he was down his whole career and people make it seem like the man was hurt.i find that crazy, but i have seen or heard of crazier things.

people should have respect for mayweather style.its hard to it and not get it.infact it easier to get it and get it back and just see who can take it better.no a good style longevity wise.fans will love you though.

i dont see pac droping clottey like he did jmm on a blind angle punch, or cotto with that jab that put him on his ass.

A lot of these Pacquiao fans only follow Manny so they really dont understand concepts like "styles make fights" or "bad matchup"...they just see pacquiao beating guys and they think he'll do it to every fighter he gonna face...I mean one guy told me that Pacquiao can do what he wants before fights because he is the best fighter or some ****....

with that said the fight will be competitive but pac should take a close ud

I think Clottey's a pretty good fighter. Tight defense, nice crisp short combos, decent speed. Not much of a puncher, but his real shortcomings have to deal with stamina, and questionable mental strength. He was winning over Baldomir but got DQ'd repeatedly coming forward with his head despite numerous warnings from the ref. He was winning against Margarito but seemed so psychologically damaged by an injured hand. To use a cliche, Margarito seemed to "want it more". And against Cotto, he had that fight within his reach, but his reluctance to let his hands go (stamina shortcomings?) ****ed him over. You can argue either way about the decision, you can't really argue with the fact that he should've been more active down the stretch.

And yet when two "really good fighters face off" and Clottey is one of them, he seems to lose more than he wins.

    Wonder why.

Perhaps a better thread would have asked the question 'Am I that much of a moron?' then you could have answered 'uh huh' and wiped the drool from your mouth.

Let me get this straight, as a Floyd fan you are amenable to him ducking the top welterweights, while the pound for pund number one takes them on?

Yup, you're a Floyd fan alright.

for me this is a pretty average opponent for manny ,he doesnt have anywhere near the skills of Oscar , Hatton or Cotto , but is very big , has a very tight defence and a very good chin , all cards 120 - 108 manny , then more talk of mayweather i suppose.

That was a balance shot you moron.. he wasn't hurt. He was simply caught in mid-air with Cotto's jab and was so off balance when his feet touched the canvas that he went down... and Pac himself was nearly KOed by a jab earler in his career. Does that make him a shitty fighter too?

Learn about the sport before you talk ****, dumb****.
