If Connor McGregor didn’t knock out José Aldo so quickly would a longer fight have been closer?

I feel Aldo could do better in a rematch because he was outdone by Conor`s mind games, but Conor might have too much of a reach advantage, do you think his reach would have meant he still would have esasily beat Aldo or am I being simplistic?

He played right in to Connor's hands, just like he said he would. The game was won before the fight with mind games plain and simple. Probably the perfect fight to show how much mind games can win a fight. Aldo came out not ready imo, he was thrown off his game by Connor.
