There has been some talk about him fighting Usman for the title.

He won't win so no. I could name at least 10 welterweight fighters in the UFC that would have a very very easy time beating Conor. Conor fighting for that belt would be a complete farce.

I've been wondering that myself. He would definitely have a strong case, based on the fact that he was the first guy to win titles in 3 weight classes. It would basically be the MMA equivalent of Henry Armstrong's 3 division feat. If MMA keeps the same limited number of divisions, then it will be insanely hard for someone to duplicate that feat.

That's a pretty remote possibility though.

I don't see him beating any of the top 5 welterweights tbh and while im hoping and predicting Masvidal beats Usman,I will be happy to see Conor or anybody apart from Woodley taking the title from Usman.

Is Usman even a name? No, but a three division world champion sounds spicey.

It's his best story arc at the moment.

Usman is beatable, Masvidal wants no part of Usman, parachute Conor in.

If he wins, he fights the winner of Masvidal Diaz 2, if he loses he probably does a rubber match with Diaz and retires.

Or Khabib may move up. Let's face it, Khabib is enormous for his present weight class.
