Cotto has a better resume than Floyd at 140,147 and 154.
Floyd has the edge at 130 and 135.
Cotto would have the H2H edge if he were to win and Floyd would lose the 0 that has defined his career.

no. not unless you want to make margarito even to cotto atg wise since they have split fights. It just doesn't work that way.

Wow... its close.... at 154... Floyd has the better resume to me... both "shot" Margarito and Mayorga plus Yuri Foreman ain't spectacular.......

at 140 and 147 I think Cotto def has the better resume.... but Mayweather has done it in 5 weight classes... as oppose to Cotto's 3.....

ummm... I'm gonna go ahead and say yeah, he passes him atg wise.. Mayweather's resume ain't so stellar that it's hard to eclipse.. its just that talent wise we know that Mayweather trumps many today and in the past...

But I would say yes.. as long as the win is convincing

Hell no, and unless you're a ****ing moron who counts losses as positives on a boxer's resume, I don't see how you could seriously argue that Floyd's resume doesn't completely **** all over Cotto's.

It would be a tremendous accomplishment, though... Easily the greatest in Cotto's career.

    I don't think so.

There's such a large gap between the 2 at the moment.

On that note, if Floyd beats Cotto, he has the better resume at 130, 135, 147 and 154.

You suggest otherwise at 147, but Floyd's wins at this weight are hugely underrated (on this board, key phrase).

Especially if Floyd moves downs and adds some more names to his resume, and of course undoubtedly, if one of those names is Manny Pacquiao.

I agree. No way does Cotto have the better resume at 147. He has a better quantity of opponents at 140, not quality. Mayweather beating Cotto at 154 would certainly put him ahead of Cotto in that division as well.
