Will Freddy Roach be licking his chopps to go after Miguel Cotto if Cotto is to beat title holder Yuri Foreman?

Considering that Manny beat Cotto before,Roach may be thinking Manny has Cotto's number and that it is a good chance for getting his fighter another world title in yet another division.

I guess it all depends on how good Cotto looks at 154lbs,and how and if he beats Foreman.

I say its possible. The main reason being, Bob Arum. But in order for this
fight to be appealing enough to make,Ctto's victory would have to be very impressive. Considering the way he was beat in the first fight against Manny.

The first win was decisive, so if Cotto does not look remarkably good, I don't see this fight happening again any time soon.

    Definitely!
Fans should expect Margarito in November and then the Foreman Cotto winner after. Forget Mayweather it aint happening.

Don't think so, because 1) Pac never even made the SWW limit (147) so the weight difference will be to big. 2) He will only fight once more. 3) WOuldn't be a big fight even if he makes the weight because he beat him clearly last time out.

Manny did fight Clottey who is a big welter weight. So it wouldn't be that crazy for him to get in there with a guy he already beat with a few more pounds added on.

It sounds like Arum has something going for Manny to fight 3 more times before getting out.

Manny would be making boxing history if he were to win the Jr middle title.

I bet some Old Timers that fought in an era of less divisions and only one belt are shaking their heads at fans that hype this kind of "history making" up so much.

Pac could fight Cotto for his 154 title at a catchweight of 148...

Incase you were refering to my comment, this thread was not intended to hype up anything. It's a valid question, considering we are in a time with multi belts and multi divisions.
I was responding to a post, saying why i feel it wouldn't be out of the ordinary if Pacquiao went for the 154lb title.

I never said whether or not i approve on how fighters get shots at belts more often then back in the days, because of the multi belts and the added divisions.
