No, your rating Margo too highly. Beating Magarito will answer some questions. That's all.

Cotto is already ahead of Calzaghe. Calzaghe was exposed against Hopkins. And Hopkins finally showed his age, so he is off the list permanently now.

Hopkins ran the whole fight and Calzaghe did the best he could chasing him.

Hopkins was p4p 4 in the world. i don't give a **** how old he is. The reality is that is where 99% of boxing writers had him. He spoiled the fight completely and rightly lost.

Anyone who comes to fight against Calzaghe gets beat up he's beaten unbeaten YOUNG world champions. He's a two weight world champ. 45-0. 11 year title reign and a solid resume. Unless your one of the many yanks who know **** all about boxing.
He is the ring champ in two divisions at the same time. IF he was a yank you would be cumming your pants.

Get your head out of your US based fighters arseholes

Yes Hopkins was either retreating or hugging. It wasn't pretty. But he still managed to win rounds and hurt Calzaghe on more then one occasion and even floored him. Calzaghe only landed a handful of significant punches on a 43 year old, slower and fatigued former great.

Hopkins was NOT the 4th best P4P fighter in the world, I think this much was proved to be pretty obvious the night of the fight.

Where did this idea come from that Americans are racist against Europeans  I talked to many people who like boxing, but don't follow it and everyone's assessment was EXACTLY the same. Hopkins hugged and Calzaghe slapped at gloves and air. Not one of them was impressed with either fighter. Face it you irritable *****, this was Calzaghe's chance to legitamize himself in America against a popular fighter and he ****ing failed. I can only imagine what a prime Hopkins would do to him :patsch

Yeah ok. Can you imagine what a 175lb version of Floyd Mayweather would do to Calzaghe? :yikes If a 43yr old version of Hopkins made him look like ****.

Margarito is simply not a big enough win to make Cotto go above 4. Pac, Calzaghe and Floyd are cemented up there until they lose.

You talk some serious cod****, you can't judge a fighter by one fight. Especially one against probably the best spoiler in the game.

We obviously aint gonna agree on this but i think your deluded.

I don't even like Calzaghe but i recognise he is top 3 p4p NO DOUBT

It should, However Cotto would have to defeat a big name fighter to be PFP. If in his next fight he put De La Hoya out of his misery, then perhaps yes. But a pounding of a way smaller Pacquaio would only raise more questions.

No, but I could see it moving him up to #4. Still behind Floyd, Pacquiao and Calzaghe, one way or the other.

Cotto is gonna stop Margarito. He's gonna do it in a one-sided fight where Margo takes a serious beating.

    1. you better give a **** how old he is because now you know why calzaghe didn't fight hopkins when it mattered.

    2. anyone who comes up against calzaghe does get beat up because warren has never allowed him to get a high enough profile and marketability to fight a prime jones or hopkins - which is why calzaghe has never fought a proven world class fighter in his prime.

    3. you should take your own advice if you truly believe that calzaghe is a great fighter. he could have been, maybe, but chose to fight the chumps frank warren put infront of him for the sake of making money rather than getting the respect of the boxing world.
