IF not Mayweather (which is possible), He'll probably have to take on the winner of Williams/Quintana or the winner of Clottey/Judah. Oscar is an outside option but who knows if Oscar is truly interested in that.

Basically the plan should be to clean out 147 if he can't get Floyd.

 

It's kind of hard to say at the moment because if Cotto does get by Margarito, then the only other meaningful fight would be Cotto-Mayweather, but if that doesn't happen, I'd say a rematch with Shane Mosley.

After Margarito he most likely gona go after "stay busy" fight (Collazo maby) and then will fight either Floyd or Oscar IMO.

He could fight Paul Williams or even Ricky Hatton, but he would take them to school.. Those three fighters above are his best bet if he doesn't get the Mayweather fight, but I'm pretty sure it'll happen by mid to late next year or then I'll be mad..

 

Why is DLH one of his best bets? Going by everyone here, it's only fair that Cotto gets crucified if he takes that fight.
