Not really take my stance for example I want Cotto to get paid for his efforts, I think he deserves a huge payday and thats what Hoya brings.
I also would love to see DLH beat soundly, but I think many others see it at a good matchup of styles?

Clottey that would clear up the 147 lb Division for me that of course is if Qiuntanna beats Williams and PBF refuses to fight Cotto
the roll call would then have been:

Qiuntanna in that he would have beaten the man who beat the man (Williams)
    Judah
    Mosely
    Margarito
    Clottey
then he could lay claim to have cleaned out rightfully the 147lb divison and PBF would have no where to hide or plausible excuse to give for not facing him.

    IF !

. . . who ever wins between Cotto and Margo should fight the winner of Clottey/Judah and/or the winner of P williams/Quintana rematch.

UNIFICATION for the undisputed KING of 147 division. Floyd doesn't count anymore peeps . . . live with reality.

De La Hoya ??? **** De La Hoya . . . if he can't go down to 147 and he won't fight any legitimate 154 pounders for a title . . . he should retire.

I only voted Oscar because he deserves one very good payday for all the good fights he's taken.

I wouldn't go on about how he beat oscar though, as it isn't a legitimate challenge. I also would never condone a rematch with Oscar if I beat him convincingly the first time.

Here's my list of 3 matchups

    1) Oscar De La Hoya
    2) Shane Mosley
    3) 154 champion.

Yes, he could rematch Quintana/fight Paul Williams... but what for?
To gain the WBO belt? give me a break! lol

Everyone thought Williams was going to BLAST through Quintana... and even if Paul Williams wins this time, we all know it isn't going to be in a superbly convincing manner.

Quintana, quite literally, handed Williams his ass. He is also a VERY good technical boxer, with good power, a good chin.

I would even take a stab and say he is a much better boxer than Williams. Williams simply uses his size advantage more than actual boxing skill. No offense, but sticking and moving ALL night long if you're 6"1 with an 82" reach isn't too difficult, more or less it's just taxing on your stamina. He has over 10" reach over most of his opponent. Keep this in mind.

Mosely is the most deserving (still not sure why Shane didnt get a rematch...instead of the Gomez laugher). Other than that Id say either Oscar (makes the most sense money wise...) or the winner of Williams - Quintana to further unify the titles.

You summed it up pretty much. Unify? Cotto is not going to fight Mosley, Quintana or if Zab wins against Clottey, again. Who is left? If he does not fight PBF, then fight Mayorga like it was planned earlier to get more on his resume and then fight Oscar. After that go after a 154 title. Unless HBO pushes Cotto to fight their other HBO fighter in Berto. Cotto has money. I don't know what the posts about let him fight Oscar to make some money or for Oscar to make another mega payday? Let some of these other contenders feed their families by getting a chance to fight for a title. The same names keep coming up for 147 fights. Quintana was busted up and who knew he was going to win the WBO title. Let some of these other contenders in the wings get a chance.
