If Cotto beats Margarito and they both put in A- performances, Cotto is p4p No. 3...

number 2 as well. JMM fought an amazing fight against Pac but time is not on his side unfortunately and he is now a lightweight which is a big division for him.

    right now its

    1. Pac
    2. Calzaghe
    3. JMM
    4. Cotto

I already have him at number 3. We will see what kind of performance he puts in...then have to rank him accordingly.

Ahead of JMM? Why, do you think he will have performed at a higher level for long enough? JMM's fights against Pacman were very close and if he beats a technical and intelligent Casamayor, he should still get credit, if they both perform, no?

Well, I have him at 3 already too, but not cemented. Beating Margarito would prove how tough he was and would warrant some legacy points, unless Margo really didn't show up. No?

Actually, on my own personal P4P list, I have Cotto ranked #3.. If he beats Margarito convincingly and in good fashion, then I would probably move him to the #2 spot above Calzaghe.. Once the era of Pacquiao is over, Cotto will reign over the #1 spot for some time..

It's only Margarito guys, Margarito is not even an A level fighter, how's he going to put in an 'A- performance'?

I already have Cotto at #3. I would move him to #2 on such a performance, with consideration for #1 because Margarito is much better than David Diaz (though most likely Pacquiao stays at #1)

JMM will beat Casa in a fight where Casa looks like garbage.

We know what Margarito brings through and he is a big rugged and stylistically theres a possibility that he can really work Cotto just because of his size kinda. I don't think he can at all but we will see. Diego Corrales wasn't an A level fighter either, when Floyd annihilated him that bad it did a lot for his career. If you can absolutely obliterate a B level fighter like Calzaghe did to lacy...Floyd did to Corrales...Pac just did it to Diaz...It does a lot for your ranking, Maybe it shouldn't.. but it does. Cotto has a chance to seperate himself permanentely from that level of competition in July!

He already has separated himself from the Margarito's of the world, if that isn't apparant. Decebal has the A-F scale going on and in that, Margarito is a B fighter at best, if we went by other examples of A's and B's, therefore, how can he put in A performance when he lacks A level skill and ability.

On the flipside, he goes about posting that Calzaghe's performance over Lacy was only A- or B+ because Lacy was a B- and that Calzaghe's performance over Kessler was only A- because Kessler was only B+. Being that those were real A or A+ performances, over a B+ and A level at the time, you can imagine where there are ranking issue's.

Well what the hell is Margarito? A level? And I agree that annihilations of B's is something only A performances can do and count in your overall resume, I just don't feel that they boost you crazy into the P4P rankings, it wouldnt have put Paul Williams into the P4P 10 if he won every round against Marg.

Inconsistency's need to be ironed out.

I'll wait until after JMM fights Casa, because I would have Pacman #1 and Calzaghe #2, so I would have a problem with putting him at 3 ahead of Calzaghe at 4, and I'd have a problem putting him at 3 ahead of JMM aswell because I would have a problem putting JMM 3 places behind Pacman when he clearly beat him.

I think that would make him #2
