Thats just it NOBODY can tell me what Floyd has done at 140-147 that is so mesmerizing.

    Know why?

because he's done absolutely **** ALL thats why

You ****ing clownshoes are incredible on here, do keep going this is sort of entertaining:good

So this guy is so great for **** he did 4 and 5 years ago?
By that logic Sven Ottke must be a god to some of you

you act like Floyd's entire career was at 140-147

Undisputed at 130 and 135 before he even went up to 140. Did you forget about that? Undisputed at 147 too.

    At 140... Hmm.

The Cotto fight couldn't happen. Nor the Hatton fight, and the Zoo fight was impossible.

The 3 best besides Mayweather at the weight wouldn't / couldn't fight him.

At 147. He beat The ex champ, the current champ, then beat Hatton the ex WBA holder (the same belt Cotto won that was vacated by Hatton.

Im not saying 147 was Floyds greatest tenure but he beat the ex champ, and current champ in back to back fight.

no because not only did floyd beat good/great fighters (cotto has as well) like hernandez, chavez, dlh, hatton, corrales, castillio etc but his also moved up all those weight classes and even fought the best (135) and cleaned out some (130). cotto can still make his mark and i think he will.

    Thats my point
If we all need a delorean to prove floyds greatness theres a problem with alot of the mentalities on here

at 130 he beat Manfredy, Chavez, and Corrales
3 great fighters no doubt but thats it? So a total of about 5 or 6 good fighters and he's somehow better than Cotto who has done nothing but progress with each fight along with the domination of 140-147

If Fraud actually progressed throughout his career(after 130) I would have a much different opinion of him. Sorry for judging Fraud no different than I would any other fighter......he's not special...just an ignorant loudmouth with superior skills but inferior will, determination, and focus leaves him a little better than average in my book

Its hard to have a serious discussion about Fraud because we are forced to imagine what could have been...which certainly drops his credibility

eze i appreciate your insight however you know just as well as I what I'm talking about

Its part of how we judge a fighters greatness:eek:verall progression, and level of opposition

The problem here that we both know is that Fraud COULD have been the greatest WW and maybe even top 5 ATG IF he had progressed his career the way many do and he SHOULD have

Even now I feel Cotto, Margarito, and Mosley all hand PBF a serious and awakening beatdown, think about it all 3 are very skilled and dangerous..

Now ask yourself out loud who has Floyd fought that is dangerous, powerful, and skilled?
Again its the path of least resistance

    I'll wait............

    Thanks:good
Its not even that I hate him(ok maybe a little)

Its just so frustrating someone of his ability pissing it all away once he gets to the best division in boxing

You would think an undefeated fighter wouldve ended on a high note and schooling an overhyped wrestler doesnt count(now your thinking who am I talking about Big Show or Hatton, either will do as both are wrestlers)

VeRY interesting being as the Floyd I remember at 130 used to pummel the **** out of his opponents masterfully.........then he became Fraud Gayweather....the rest is depressing history:deal

I was going to give examples and write something but I realized that your extreme hate for Mayweather is too much to argue with. "Molested Floyd in the first half of the fight" (Which is completely false) I just dont even want to spend the time on it.

    Floyd I hope fights Cotto.

He beats Margo easily and Shane Mosley is past it and Cotto struggled with him.

This comes down to pure opinion. I feel Mayweather would uppercut Cotto to death like he did Jesus Chavez. Cotto is prone to the uppercut and cuts a lot in his mouth when he gets hit with them.

He also moved up to his 3rd/4th/5th weight class.

Cotto just moved up to his 2nd weight class. Cotto won't be knocking people out at 154 160 or 168 as easily as he did at 140 and 147.

I think the thread starter meant in terms of greatness, not at 147
